The Saigh Foundation funds organizations that create opportunities and solutions for children and youth, up to 24 years old, in Education and/or Health. Direct services to children are preferred.
Organizations must operate their programming in the St. Louis Statistical Metropolitan area, which is limited to the following counties (7) in Missouri: St. Louis City and County, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, and Warren. Counties (8) in Illinois include Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair.
To maximize the impact of limited resources, The Saigh Foundation does not fund:
- Projects operating outside of the St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area
- Annual Appeals, Dinner Functions, and Fund-Raising Events
- Capital Projects or Campaigns
- Individuals
- Political activities, Political Parties, or Candidates
- Loans or Deficits
- Travel or Conference Expenses
- Films
- Crowdfunding Initiatives or Collective Funding Projects
